VisualMED Clinical Systems Corp. engages in the development and marketing of Clinical Information Systems to healthcare institutions.

The VisualMED Clinical Information System integrates physician order entry and alerts/decision support with nursing clinical functions, including an automatically generated medication administration record, as well as with doctors and nurses notes.

VisualMED applications modules include an electronic physician order entry system integrated with results reporting an electronic nursing tool to capture clinical nursing functions, an electronic clinical patient record, and an integrated discharge summary. It also includes a hypertext-linked integrated clinical guide, a graphic interface that allows integration of hospital data sources and customization of clinical settings, an integrated teaching tool, and order entry facilities for pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, the emergency department, and other hospital functional areas.

The company was founded in 1996. It was formerly known as Cherry Tree Capital Corp. and changed its name to VisualMED Clinical Systems Corp. in May 2000. The company is based in Montreal, Canada.
